프로그래밍 작업을 통해 운영체제, 시스템, 애플리케이션, 라이브러리 등을 이용하여 응용 프로그램을 작성할 수 있게 하는 다양한 인터페이스의 총칭

### 페일오버·Fail-over

1선 시스템이 장애나 운용 시간 종료로 가동이 중단되면 2선 시스템이 기능을 넘겨받아 운용되는 백업 모드
